• Extend Service Broker with existing vocabulary services

• Collect and integrate more vocabularies/thesauri

    – General-purpose (e.g., GEMET Thesaurus, INSPIRE Registry): require harmonisation. Tool for relating vocabularies to each other.

    – Thematic-oriented: need user-friendly digitisation tools. Wiki-based contents management tool.

    – User-generated: lack retrieval and organisation criteria. Still a research topic.

Action:

• Extend Service Broker Functionality;

    – Leverage the  broker and the RDF repository

• Collect existing Vocabularies;

    – Contribution from thematic communities,

       e.g. water

    – Harmonize data formats

• Integration;

    – Create relationships among them

    – Use them for practical purposes
